To ensure that every private sector company in Botswana develops HIV and AIDS interventions within the workplace
What We Do
BBCA is set out to combat the spread of HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria and other Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), as well as facilitate the provision of quality and comprehensive care, and support to employees affected and infected via workplace programmes.
We capacitate businesses with: Health and Wellness Policies, Monitoring and Evaluation, Research-Prevalence and Incidences
BBCA’s priority in the face of Covid-19 is to reduce the spread of the disease and mitigate the impact of COVID -19 on workers and the public by implementing appropriate prevention and control measure in the workplace
BBCA trains and retain a network of sector specific health champions in Mining, Retail, Tourism, Transport and Security services amongst others
BBCA ensures that the private sector in Botswana has HIV/AIDSwork place policies and that health and wellness programs within the workplace are implemented
Distribute Condoms to the Private Sector using the Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) model, to help disburden government the sole responsibility of distribution.

To strengthen the Botswana private sector’s role in managing and combating the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the workplace.
OUR STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
- To mobilise and sensitise the private sector institutions on HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria and other Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs)
- To build and strengthen institutional capacity of the SME for development of HIV/AIDS,TB, Malaria and other Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) workplace programmes and policies
- To strengthen networking and coordination of the private sector response to HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria and other Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in Botswana
- To facilitate M&E and reporting by enterprises collaborating in the private sector response to HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria and other Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs)
- To build and strengthen BBCA institutional capacity and organisational development
